It has been a long time ago since I posted my last pick here due to some personal reasons. Now the net Eredivisie season started and I will try to give my predictions again. Feyenoord is a good team. They have many young players. In the past this was a problem because many of them were unexperienced. But now they have a coach who have a great feeling with these young players. Last season coach Koeman finished on the 2nd place with Feyenoord. It was a great peformance and nobody expected it. Now some important players left the club, but they have some new talented players. Their only problem is that they lack a real striker. They had so many chances against Dinamo Kiev in the return. But they simply didnt had a striker to convert these chances. But now things are different. Heerenveen will be their opponent and in my opinion this wont be a difficult match for Feyenoord. First of all Heerenveen lost all important players from last season. They have a new team and a new coach. Van Basten. He is ofcourse a big name in the Dutch soccer History. But that is history. Now he is coach and so far he didn't archieve great things in his career. I can add a lot of reasons for this pick. Last two seasons Heerenveen was unbeaten at Rotterdam (Both 2-2 draws) This time it will be different. Feyenoord looks like a great playing team. Players can find each other. Heerenveen is still not a team. Players dont know each other and Feyenoord should take advantage. I expect a comfortable win for the hosts.
