Both teams are playing to reach their goal of the season, but the fulfillment of these goals is far away for home team Vienna. If Altach wins this game and the next one at home, and at the same time Austria Lustenau doesn´t win tomorrow and on friday Altach could start the championship party after the friday game on home ground, which should be a good motivation for tomorrow.

First Vienna: Raising Hope?

Last round, about ten days ago, Vienna made their first win perfect after 14 games without gaining 3 points. In the table the team is placed 10th, which means the relegations spot, eight points behind relegation play-off with 7 games left to play. The team is, where it should be and where the quality of the players is ranked in the table. Bad performances over many games, not having one coach with continuity and the club having debts doesn´t affect positive on the team. However the last games was one away against direct opponent in relegation fight Parndorf. First half their was without chances and second half was more on Vienna´s half as Parndorf was better and creating chances, but Vienna GK Mandl showed good saves. In the end Miesenböck had the lucky punch and scored the 0-1 and kept the hope alive to stay in Erste Liga for another year. A big problem in this games also was the fact, that seven players from Vienna are in danger of a suspension because of yellow cards, so there weren´t any hard one-on-one duels and I think Vienna will attack very carfully to have no suspensions for the next important game on friday vs Mattersburg, a direct opponent to avoid relegation.

Altach: Securing the title at home ground?

Altach was one of the favourites for promotions to Bundesliga, as they have a good quality team and many players with Bundesliga experience. As explained above, with two wins and a bit "help" from Lustenau´s opponents Atlach can secure the Promotion and Erste Liga championship on friday on home ground. Therefore a win here is obligation. From the quality it must be an easy win for them, but Vienna will fight for sure. And the H2H on Vienna ground aren´t also a good support for the bet. However I see good value here on a higher win of Altach. The last game vs Kapfenberg was won in a dominant way, controlling the whole game, leaving Kapfenberg no chance. Especially mentionable player was midfielder Harrer, who scored twice. The last ten days were used for regeneration as well as training. And this time since many weeks the whole team is completly fit and can play at full strengh against Vienna. The only player who is not available for this game is Prokopic who is suspended. The rest, also topscorer Aigner and keyplayer Netzer, who were missing vs Kapfenberg are back in the team so the strongest team should play tomorrow.

For me the chance for a Altach win by two or more goals is higher than the bookies expect. I see a 50-50 chance between a tough game, which could even end with a home win or a draw, and another dominant game from Altach with a high win.
