Wacker Innsbruck II - WSG Wattens

Wacker Innbruck II won the last game vs Altach II surprisingly with 5-1. This was completly unpredictable in my opinion. Atlach II took the lead early in this game, but after HT break Wacker II scored the equalising goal and created a lot of pressure. After a red card vs. Altach GK it became easier and Wacker scored by penalty to 2-1 and later three more times. In the first game after Winter they lost vs. Seekirchen (from my last pick: Wacker Innsbruck had a bad start with a 0-2 home loss vs defensive playing Seekirchen. The first half was dominated by them, but who doesn´t score the goals... 0-1 after first half was maybe tough luck, but the efficiency was just disastrous. In second half Wacker started similiar, but after the 0-2 in minute 55 there wasn´t much to see from both sides.)

In comparison to Wacker II, Wattens has a goal to fight for, and that´s the Regionalliga West title. Six points behind the leader with twelve gamedays to play isn´t a bad situation for Wattens. The start after winter wasn´t the best with a 2-2 vs Dornbirn. But in the last game a 5-1 win showed the real power of Wattens, and the win could have been even higher. Wattens also has good memories at the games vs. Wacker II. The last four were won, three of them in a handicap win.

For me the situation looks really much like an away win. Wackers first team has really problems and is 9 points behind a save place in Bundesliga. So the atmosphere is really though for the whole club, who also has to worry about financials if the first team makes it´s way one league down. And there Wattens, as a club from Tirol, would be much more comfortable than rival Austria Salzburg.
