19th placed York City host Burton Albion at Bootham Crescent who occupy 2nd place in League 2.

For whatever reason York City's form at home this season has been terrible with only 1 home win in the league so far. Their record is 1-7-5 with the majority of those draws coming early on in the season with York losing 3 of their last 5 home games.

The last match was a home tie against a form side in Stevenage who came away with a 2-0 victory after a goal in either half saw them home relatively comfortably. Burton should be a similar test, if not tougher, so a similar score line is certainly on the cards.

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's Burton Albion are progressing nicely under his leadership as they currently sit 1 point off the top spot. The Brewers are currently unbeaten in 7 games with 4 victories and 3 draws in this run with some good wins over Shrewsbury 1-0 and a 4-0 thumping of Hartlepool United.

Burton's last game was a 1-1 away draw at Portsmouth thanks to a late Lenihan equaliser after Portsmouth had led since the 36th minute of the match. This draw ended a 3 game winning run for Burton but was still a good result considering Portsmouth's capabilities at home.

Forward Jacob Blyth who has 5 goals so far has extended his loan spell until the end of the season with all of Blyth's goals coming away from home. Experienced Defender Shane Cansdell-Sherriff (21/2) should be back in the side after injury, with Forwards Akins (17/4) & Alex MacDonald (21/6) hoping to be back in the squad.

Considering the form of both teams and Burton's positive team news I back Burton to edge this contest slightly and I think the good price is worth the gamble.
