Watford vs Ipswich Town
Saturday and Watford will be hosting Ipswich Town at their stadium Vicarage Road. Its getting near the end of the season and every point counts obviously and the top teams cant afford to lose. Watford is welcoming a struggeling Ipswich to their ground and also the possibility to get one step closer to the ultimate price, the premier league. This glorious price that is worth atleast 55m £ in only TV money, an extreme amount of money. This is the most wanted price maybe in the entire world, atleast second division teams and now Watford stand in a very good place claiming this price.
Watford is currently at the top of the table (22-6-10) in the league as they share same amount of points (72p) with Middlesbrough however every point counts and if they "lose" three points at any game now in the end of the season it will hurt bad. Watford coach Slavisa Jokanovic was very clear on this in a interview to the Watford website as he was quoted saying "now is not the time to be happy", "Now we are only thinking about Ipswich. This is a top team, but it doesn't matter if it is a bottom team or a top team, the reward is always three points.

Watford is in an incredible form as they have started winning game after game, climbing greatly in the table. Last 10 games have resulted in a dominating 8-1-1, last 6 home games 5-0-1 with the defeat coming against a very well playing Norwich. The Hornets is a force to be reckon with at home and always give a professional performance infront of their home fans. Eyes are very much set on promotion and to build on their current unstoppable form.
Ipswich Town is a team that was playing great during some time in the season but have lately played poorly recording only 2 wins in their last 7 games (2-1-4). This is Ipswich current form and the so wanted promotion is slipping through their hands, its not far away however. They can still reach the playoff promotion as it differs only 2 points but sadly they are now facing a team they have a hard time beating away. Last six meetings at Vicarage Road have ended in 5 lost games for Ipswich and 1 win. Ipswich will look fondly at last meeting between the two clubs as they beat Watford at home 1-0.
Defender Tommy Smith was quoted in a interview to the clubs official website looking optimistic at the game: “Watford will obviously be a very tough match, with them being top of the table, but if we can get in their faces and play our game then there’s no reason why we can’t take the three points,”
Ipswich needs points to be in the promotion race but this is not really the game they should win. A very poor away record speaks against the optimistic side (6-6-7), not very bad you might say but lets look abit more closely. Last 6 away games have ended 1-0-5! Ipswich is crumbeling away from home.
Watford will be without midfield duo Almen Abdi (27/8) and Sean Murray (6/0). Coach Slavisa Jokanovic has no new injuries and will be able to put a very strong eleven to defend their first place.
Ipswich will be without Teddy Bishop (midfielder 26/1) and a few players are doubful such as, J.Parr ( defender 26/1) and David McGoldrick( striker 26/7)
This game is a very important game, obviously for both team but I choose to bet on Watford as their unstoppable streak combined with Ipswichs very bad away form make this a very intresting bet.
