VPS vs. Jaro +0.5

This is a match between tired VPS and Jaro that has played well and has fresher feets. VPS has played a lot of games lately and on sunday they looked really tired. Their coach has openly criticized their calendar and this will be their 3rd game within 6 days. What makes it even worse is that they have really narrow roster and coach has to play with these current guys. They are close of losing their captain after he was substituted during last game. Also couple other players might miss this game. VPS has been showing downtrend lately, scoring just three goals in last five matches. What makes it weird is that two of these goals were scored against HJK! They are having a bad period and I see this as 50/50 game.

Jaro as the smallest club in this league always surprises me positively. They play nice football and have a really good coach, father of Alexei Eremenko. They have played really nice football lately. They have lost just once in last five games and even that was 1-0 loss. They totally dominated last homegame versus TPS but an early 2nd minute goal gave TPS enough to get a draw. Jaro was superior team in that game nad they have really good momentum inside the team. They might also miss couple guys for this game as VPS but they have showed good play nevertheless.

This is western-finland derby and these matches have always been tight. This year is a bit different. I see that Jaro is playing better and shouldnt been such underdog. In recent years Jaro has played many draws against VPS as a dog but this time I see no clear favourite here. Draw or a narrow awaywin wouldnt surprise me especially as Jaro has find the net nicely lately. 7 goals in last five matches is good for a team that has solid defence and has had bigger problems offensively in recent years. This game comes as a perfect time for Jaro to get something.
